All my American Garden Barn Quilts are made of MDO sign board (not plywood) and are weather resistant with sealed edges and multiple coats of primer and high quality outdoor paint. The Barn Quilt is also sealed with a water-based sealer. When you purchase an American Garden Barn Quilt you not only getting a beautiful Barn Quilt but also a high quality piece of artwork.
Barn Quilts have been hung on barns, but also out-buildings, homes, front porches, in living rooms and cottages and boat houses for many years throughout the United States to add color and character to homes, buildings and to the rural and urban landscape.
Each American Garden Barn Quilt is hand-painted geometric shapes, or scenic pictures that are painted onto wooden Medium Density Overlay Board or commonly referred to as Sign Board. All my standard American Garden Barn Quits are made of 1/2” MDO Board. My American Garden Barn Quilts sizes 4ftx4ft, 3ftx3ft and 2ftx2ft. Custom sizes are also available.
